Shift to neutral and maintain 1500 RPM for 10 seconds to let the torque converter cool, then release the accelerator. Next, place the transmission in drive. Again, with the brake pedal firmly applied, press the accelerator pedal to 100% for 2-3 seconds until engine RPM stabilizes, then release it. Shift back to neutral, maintain 1500 RPM for 10 seconds to cool the converter, release the accelerator, and turn the engine off.

Reviewing stall speed data

Review the recording after the test. A properly functioning stator one-way clutch should show APP = 100%, RPM > 1500, LOAD < 100%, and GEAR_CMD showing Reverse or 1st Gear commanded.
