Each applicable M-HOT-DR open-wire check should be less than 1 Ω, and each applicable M-COOL-DR open-wire check should also be less than 1 Ω. Then, still with IG Mode OFF, check M-HOT-DR and M-COOL-DR for a short to ground. The expected result is not shorted. If one of these circuit checks is abnormal, the problem is in the circuit.
Judge the climate control unit last
After the motor-side inspection and the external circuit inspection, move to the climate control unit inspection. If the other inspection items all indicate a normal condition, then the remaining fault area is the climate control unit, and the test result is a problem with the climate control unit.
