Check the VTM wire for an open
Next is the VTM line. Jump the SCS line with the HDS and wait more than 1 minute. Then disconnect PCM connector B, the 51P connector. With the vehicle still in OFF LOCK mode, the rocker arm oil pressure switch 2P connector disconnected, and PCM connector B disconnected, check continuity between rocker arm oil pressure switch 2P connector No. 2 and PCM connector B No. 21. If there is continuity, continue to the next wiring check. If there is no continuity, repair the open in the VTM wire between PCM B21 and the rocker arm oil pressure switch.
Check the LG wire and finish the decision path
Now check the LG line. With the same connectors disconnected, check continuity between rocker arm oil pressure switch 2P connector No. 1 and body ground. If there is no continuity, repair the open in the LG wire between the rocker arm oil pressure switch and G101. If there is continuity, the LG wire is OK. At that point, update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good PCM and recheck. If P2647 goes away after the PCM update, troubleshooting is complete. If P2647 goes away with the known-good PCM installed, replace the original PCM.
